Island jumping in Troms

Last wednsday , Gerd, Ragnvald and me had a nice roadtrip around some of the islands of Troms. Gerd have been teaching me some basic techniques of woodcarving in his workshop the last week, and Ragnvald has been so sweet to supply me with some of his nice sibirian driftwood that he collect. So now its all set for the totempole I'm going to start carving.
woodcarving is hard work.. guess I'll be pretty buff soon!

My good friend Harald are one of the talented ppl selected for the 24th Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival. Held at the Villa Noailles in South of France every spring, Hyères proposes diverse exhibitions, professional panel discussions and two competitions showcasing the best new talents from the fields of fashion and photography. Previous winners include Viktor & Rolf, Christian Wijnants, Charles Anastase and more recently, virtuoso knitwear designer Sandra Backlund.

He tells me his inspiration source for the collection is native archeology assistants. I can see that. Middle east. Mountain-men!

The jury consists of Nan Goldin, Kriss Van Asche, Gert Jonkers and Jefferson Hack plus some more ppl....
