Dear Santa, I don't know if you read blogs, but if you do; here's some of my xmas wishes:

1. Electronic Saltlamp
- it cures winter depressions and sleepless nights, and they're way cooler than stupid lavalamps... I so need one! (yeah I'm new age)

2. The Skeleton fisher necklace
- it's hot, its funny , its classy... I used to be a rock chick.

3. Anatomic heart pendants from Pamela Love or Bittersweets NY
- I've wanted a heart pendant like this for ages.. my boyfriend have asked all the jewlery stores in town after one. But now he knows where to get it! Don't let the price stop you! ;-)))) (ah..who am I kidding..)
- "All details are the same as on a real german war tank. drive across the livingroom floor and shoot eachother down like they did during World War 2"
.....uhm yeah, I remember that. that was so much fun..

5. Airbrush kit
- I love airbrush art... Imagine all the cool stuff I could make.. teeshirts, fantasy posters, naildesigns, decorate my parents car with eagels and mermaids...

6. Questionable beliefs charm bracelet by menden veil
- I want to belive, and sometimes I really do too..

7. Carv your own totem pole by Wayne Hill, Jimi Mckee, Beverly McMullen.
- This would be usefull now that I've actually started making one, coz I have no clue how to do this. I guess I should put a really good axe on the list too.. hopefully the school will supply me with that.

8. "Face it" triangle sunglasses. by Alexandra Cassaniti
- they're cool, they change colors, they're totally illuminati.

9. Naked print dress by vena cava
- I probably would feel a bit exposed wearing this but in the right settings it would kick ass! And it would look great with my metal boots.

10. Black backzip moccasins from Minnetonka
- I've allready bought pyramid studs to punk them up like the ones by Bess.

11. Suede thunderbird moccasins from Minnetonka
- I'm getting back to my native american roots.. I don't care if you dont belive me, I'm getting these anyways.

12. Wooden miniature dog purse from Timmy Woods
- because dogs used to be wolves and then we tamed them and they're still our best hunting mates wheather it be elk or a candy bar @ Deli DeLuca at 12am..

+ + + +
lots of other stuff!
...books,
clothes,
jewelery,
toys,
handmade gifts,
love,
peace,
happyness,
u know..

Yeah, I know there's been some room for improvement for my behaviour this year too, but I know a lot of people that have done worse and I will sell them out to you if you'll concider me. Also I think a lot of these things will inspire me to be a better person, I'm sure you will agree..

Yours truly, 4 ∞

shine on me

I've noticed the trend on blogging about sunglasses
(yeah, naturally, it's summertime!)
Even though the sun has been a bit shy these last days.. there's alot of really nice (and expencive) ones out there, but here are some of my cheap and tacky favs:

Think I'll head down to Oslo S right away to get myself a pair of these classic holographic sunglasses.
stoner chic.. maybe I'll go for a pair with marijuana leaves..

If your looking for a pair of sunglasses that stand out.. and not necessarily in a good way...
you can always visit Shades of fun
most of the glasses makes you wonder weather to laugh or start crying but you might be able to find yourself some cheap thrills..

I like the fact that they're not trying to glam it all up. the pictures are in low resolution and many of the "designs" comes with documentation of people wearing the glasses (and we're not talking about styled up models here..)

"Your favorite birthday boy or girl will love the feeling your birthday gift will give them! It makes them feel extra special and full of joy. You'll love the photographs from the birthday party -- just look how much this guy loved his glasses! So much fun!"

lol these here are so horrible! yet they're pretty hot at the same time..
or maybe just horrible. oh I cant deside..

not exactly martin Margiela but it's a lot cheaper (looks a lot cheaper too..)

These here might be a bit too cool (like a SF electro band on Bigstereo or something.)
but I think the pair with the seagull is simple and sweet. Probably easy to DIY though.. just glue on some funny buttons from the nearest textile shop.

I hate it when people wear stupid xmas merch at xmastime. but I think it's kinda cool if you wear it in the off seasons...

charity glasses..

..or you could go even further over the top.. like with these glasses from sea shell city

Introduction Bla Bla Bla…Nice city…bla bla.

Shopping!

Department store 206

Classy, posh and expensive. Marc Jacobs, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Jil Sander, Dior, Dries Van Noten, Stella McCartey. All the big names in one place. + Cds, art books and taxidermied butterflies.

What I really liked about this store was the interior. A lot of the clothes were really basic and dull, but the store is filled with old and eccentric furniture.

Why not enjoy a ridiculously expensive cup of coffee after you bought a ridiculously expensive dress?

also sold perfumes from cult fragrance company Etat Libre d'Orange
This one smells like cum (no, not really). Their bottles are decorated by cute pop-art. You can buy their perfumes and see more on their website, the scent “Jasmin & Cigarettes” and “Delicious Closet Queen” (haha, love the names) are my favourites.

A dead bug was the only thing I really wanted. 175 Euros.

Lil Shop

This was probably my favourite boutique since I love Comme des Garçons and Junya Watanabe. They sold all the different Comme des Garçons lines and vintage stuff from previous collections. And the people working there were really friendly and cool.

Cute wallets

Accessory tree

Ahhh…love the colors

Other Stuff

American Apparel is pretty big in Germany and has numerous stores in Berlin. Buy something lemon yellow, blueberry blue and the best underwear ever.

Bvulgari jewellery. It’s not too early to make Christmas wishes. 27.000 Euros.

Dressing room extravaganza:

From the left: Bag (notice the gun) from Vlieger & Vandam. Turtleneck by Jil Sander ( I was thrown out of the Jil Sander store because of taking pictures in the dressing room, I guess they could sense that I didn’t even have enough money for a pair of socks. I’m positive billionare son would be allowed to take pictures in the dressing rooms, but then again he could just buy everything and take pictures at home. If a billionare reads this: I’m up for adoption). Sweater from Comme des Garçons homme +. Jacket by Comme des Garçons by Watanabe

Art

Unknown artists at Martin Mertens gallery.

Janis Kounellis had the main exhibition at Neue Nationalgalerie. The gallery was a bit crowded and a bit touristy, but the architecture is interesting and its collection of art is worth a quick look.

The Helmut Newton Foundation Museum was a blast. The one of the two main exhibitions was “Private property” which consisted of private and unpublished pictures, his clothes, his bed room +++. Picture above of the “Newtonmobile”, a blue jeep owned by the car fanatic.

Sex-masks in silver, Dior shoes and guns. Different props Newton has used in some of his most famous shoots.

The second exhibition was a “three-man-show” consisting of pictures by Helmut Newton, Larry Clark and Ralph Gibson. These “three-man-shows” are regular at the museum, which once in a while invites two other nude photographers to exhibit their work. Don’t forget to visit the book store. Below: Gibson.

Speaking of sex, if you’re interested in a good gay sex bar (who isn’t?), Greifbar is the place to be. A friend, Henning Gärtner, took me there. He’s in Berlin writing a zombie novel based in Oslo so if you come across it in the future, check it out. Greifbar is wonderfully vulgar and gross. The floor in the dark room is covered in old paper tissues (with sperm I suppose) and you’re guaranteed at least one free drink if you’re barely legal. Faggy fun.

Ok, shopping, art and sex, I think that’s all Berlin has to offer. If you haven’t been there, go! If you have been there, go again. And since I’m still in Christmas spirit: here is the lovely Christmas decoration at Grand Hyatt Berlin, a tree made out of flowers with two peacocks:

kisses, Henrik

pimp it up! (xmas workshop III)

glam/gem-mash-up headphones from Bess NY (photo: Chad Pitman), and swarovski headphones from Collette

This is probably something you easily could DIY. and I think it would make a great gift!
Glamed up cellphones have been around for a while now, so it shouldn't be hard to get hold on some readymade glam stick-on, if yr lazy, but I guess superglue will do the trick.
I pimped my USB last year, Chistopher Kane-style.
