This is probably something you easily could DIY. and I think it would make a great gift!
Glamed up cellphones have been around for a while now, so it shouldn't be hard to get hold on some readymade glam stick-on, if yr lazy, but I guess superglue will do the trick.
I pimped my USB last year, Chistopher Kane-style.

if you're lucky (you probably are) you can get one of the two rooms they're showing shortfilms in, all by yourself. its like going to the movies just that its free and its art and no one gets annoyed when you start laughing in the middle of the sad parts.
no but really, the shortfilms are brilliant; funny, cruel, super-sad and beautiful. so GO!

Oh, I r e a l l y like this Robyn video Directed by Max Vitali, lovely pictures, and great styling! it's almost a bit Jürgen Teller..?

it also reminds me a bit of that fashion shoot by Pierre Bailly and Cathy Kasterine, in the september issue of i-D magazine this year. (you know, the one with Gemma Ward on the cover, yeah, I've been inspired a lot by that issue..)

one part retro-glamour, one part british middleclass-interior, a bit cutting edge fashion and some pretty strong blitz/spotlights (to make those contrast shadows), will get me trough this winter!

Vagina dresses

Marie Kristiansen did it again! A few years ago, she got the headlines for beeing sensured from the schools exhibit-catalouge for the avgangsutstilling @ Oslo Fotokunstskole. The schools principle Emil Fedida, refused to let her show her photos; one containing a woman undressing from a burka (her tits where showing) and one with a naked woman wearing a palestina skarf on the head and the writings "Israel" on her back - with the s formed as a swastika.


Well, if u want to know more about that case, just google Marie Kristiansen or Emil Fedida or whatever. Cuz what Im interested in rite now, is these girls wearing these amazing dresses:


Looks like a vagina. But in a beatuiful and gorgeous way. I couldnt find out who made the dressed, as the main focus on the article I read was the photos. They are going to be shown at Gallery A in Oslo after newyears. Go see. I know I will.

Okay. This week has been crazy. Spasibar turned 3 yrs old on wednesday, which ofcourse ment free vodka shots and lottsa beer. I lost my VISAcard and my lovely black satin jacket. Fuck stealers. But I had a good time, as did I yesterday at Pastor bigtime. All the artists where great and the cabaret/høstfest på steinerskolen -feeling was superb. (pixx 2 come, I think Tor Erik got some?)anyway... we HAVE to drink and dance tonite also b/c...

...tonite...again...there is UPOPULÆR @ Pi. (Storgata something). This night they got Bitchee bitchee ya ya ya to play. thats like SOOO KOOOL. And the DJ for the night is Jerry Bouthier. (resident DJ @ Boombox, London, Kitsune club, Paris and so on...). The nite will be so nice. SO NICE!


Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya is a french-british duo who plays a mix of lo-fi, post-punk, hard-bass with crystal clear (?) vocal and vintage keyboards on the side. They are supposed to be really good live, I´ve heard.

And I guess Jerry will play all the blog-house hits and much more.

And uh. For you 18yr olds; tonite u can get in @ pi! cuz its a birthday party. Upopulær are celebrating 1 year. Get yr sneakers on, and get down there tonite, cuz we all know there is no way we dance as good in high heels.

(Some rumours are going around about a heavy after-party somewhere in Grünerløkka. We´ll see).
